A mother and daughter passion project nestled in the rainforests of the Central Queensland Highlands.
Our Story
Misty Mountain Miniatures began in 2022 as a dream shared between a mother and daughter who'd always wanted a small farm filled with gentle, characterful animals. What started as a couple of miniature pygmy goats quickly grew into a thriving hobby farm with a carefully curated herd of goats, sheep, and the guardian dogs who watch over them all.
We're based in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland — a region of rolling green hills, misty mornings, and the kind of quiet that makes you breathe a little deeper. It's the perfect place to raise animals that are calm, healthy, and truly loved.
Every animal on our farm has a name, a personality, and a place in our hearts. We believe that happy, well-handled animals make the best companions and the healthiest breeding stock — and that philosophy shows in everything we do.
Meet the Team
Brooke
Co-founder & Social Media
Robyn is the heart of the farm. With a lifelong love of animals and a background in veterinary nursing, she oversees the health and wellbeing of every animal on the property. She's the one you'll find in the paddock at dawn, checking on the new arrivals.
Debra
Co-founder & Breeding Programme
Ellie manages our breeding programme and registrations, and is passionate about improving the quality and temperament of our herd. She handles all our social media and loves nothing more than introducing visitors to the babies.
Our Breeding Philosophy
We breed for temperament first, conformation second. An animal that is a joy to handle is worth more to us than any ribbon.
Handled from Birth
Every baby is handled daily from the moment they arrive. By the time they leave us, they're confident, curious, and comfortable with people.
Health & Welfare First
All animals are vaccinated, drenched, and microchipped. We work closely with our local vet and follow best-practice husbandry at every stage.
Registered Stock
We are registered breeders with the relevant breed societies. Our animals come with full paperwork so you can breed with confidence.
Sustainable Farming
We manage our pastures carefully, rotate grazing, and avoid unnecessary chemicals. Our animals live as naturally as possible on a working farm.
